Fiona Coope

Fiona Coope (BSc) has been with ESG since 1989, beginning her career as a Bench Analyst at British Rail. Throughout her long career Fiona has gained experience in a number of areas including analysing gases in oil, environmental analysis, forensic glass analysis, workplace drug testing and toxicology. She also spent time as a forensic reporting officer which included statements of opinion and she now specialises in all aspects of illicit drug analysis. Fiona is a member of both the Chartered Society of Forensic Science and the LTG (formerly the London Toxicology Group) and regularly liaises with the Home Office and UK police forces as an independent expert on illicit drugs and new psychoactive substances.
